We believe that every child deserves great care. Unfortunately, access to affordable dental, vision and orthodontic care is highly limited in the U.S and lower income children suffer disproportionate rates of tooth decay and uncorrected vision problems. These issues effect school attendance and performance and can have lasting impact on a child’s health and self-esteem. Our mission is to expand care access so that every child has a chance to thrive. That is why we welcome Medicaid and most insurance plans and work closely with patients and their families to educate them on the importance of regular care.

Medicaid Dental Care Coverage for Children
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recognize the importance of proper dental care for children. They provide robust benefits to cover both preventative and restorative care for children ages six months through 20 years. This includes regular dental cleanings and exams, fluoride treatments, dental sealants, dental fillings, crowns, extractions and other services deemed medically necessary to relieve pain and maintain dental health. Medicaid participants are not subject to co-payments or premiums for their dental care, so parents can get their children the care they need at little or no out-of-pocket cost.
Medicaid Eye Care Coverage for Children
25% of school-aged children suffer from an untreated vision issue that interferes with their ability to learn, and children with vision impairment are twice as likely to be diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). To ensure all children have an equal opportunity to learn, Medicaid covers regular comprehensive eye exams and eyeglasses for children who require vision correction.
Medicaid Orthodontic Care Coverage for Children
In many cases, orthodontic treatment is medically necessary, not simply cosmetic. A misaligned bite and teeth can result in increased decay and periodontal disease, difficulty chewing food and other long-term oral health issues. Medicaid will cover the cost of orthodontic treatment for children with proven malocclusion issues such as overbite, underbite, crossbite or severe crowding. At an orthodontic evaluation, we can determine if a child’s treatment is likely to be covered and will manage the full Medicaid approval process.
